Arrival by car:
Take the motorway A95, exit Murnau, and then in the direction of Oberammergau or go to the end of the motorway at Eschenlohe and then via Oberau to Oberammergau.
Take the motorway B23 directly to Oberammergau
Take the motorway A7 until Kempten, then B12 until Marktoberdorf, then B472 until Schongau and then B23 to Oberammergau
Go in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, then take A95 in the direction of Munich until Oberau and from there to Oberammergau.
Arrival by train/bus:
Travel by train via Augsburg resp. Munich to Murnau. There, take the regional train in the direction of Oberammergau. You can also ride on directly to Oberau without changing trains and from there take the RVO-bus to Oberammergau.
Travel from Innsbruck by train via Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Oberau and there take one of the busses of RVO to Oberammergau (see above)

Take the Flixbus from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen or take the Flixbus from Füssen to Oberammergau.

Arrival by plane:
Take the car or train, see instructions adjacent.
Then take a car via the motorway B11 to Mittenwald, B2 via Garmisch and Oberau to Ettal. Or take the train to Murnau. (From here: see journey by car or by train/bus)
Then take a car via the motorway A96 to Landsberg am Lech, B17 direction Füssen/Garmisch-Part./Schongau, B23 directly to Oberammergau.
There are two large Park & Ride car parks, which you can reach via the signs "P&R Süd" and "P&R Nord". The parking fee is 5€/day. You can purchase parking tickets directly on site or book them online in advance here. The parking tickets are valid for both car parks and entitle the holder to re-entry during the intermission, for example. They are only valid for one day. Multi-day tickets are not available.
Shuttle buses (blue line) will run from the Park & Ride car parks to the event site.
Please note that the centre of Oberammergau is in parts completely closed to traffic and no parking spaces are available there for visitors to the Passion Play.
A limited number of parking spaces are available for people with disabilities near the Passion Play Theatre. As a parking permit you will need the blue parking permit for persons with disabilities of the European Union.
